Welcome to the "Cool English Online Learning Platform" (hereinafter referred to as "the website") , which is developed and promoted by the K-12 Education Administration of the Ministry of Education in cooperation with the National Taiwan Normal University. 1. Principles for the Collection, Processing, and Utilization of Personal Data on this Website

(1)	The purpose of collecting this data is to verify the identity of users accessing information on this website and to provide various services.
(2)	When browsing the webpages of this website or using other website services, you will be asked to provide your personal data, including your name, email address, contact information, school, grade, class, location (city/county), nationality, and usage time.
(3)	During general browsing, the server will automatically record relevant actions, including the IP address of your connection device, usage time, the browser used, browsing and clicking records, etc., as a reference for improving website services. This record is for internal use only and will not be disclosed.
(4)	Unless with your consent or as otherwise specified by law, this website will not disclose your personal data to third parties or use it for any purposes other than those for which it was collected.

2. Information on Personal Data Collection

(1)

Public Authority Name: K-12 Education Administration of the Ministry of Education.

(2)

Purpose of Collection: User identification, teacher qualification applications, training applications, competition registration management, information services, and database management.

(3)

Categories of Personal Data: C001 Personal identifiers, C051 School records, C011 Personal descriptions, C061 Current employment status.

(4)

Duration, Area, Target, and Method of Personal Data Use:

(A)	Duration: The period specified by law, contract, or agreement.
(B)	Area: Within the territory of the Republic of China (Taiwan).
(C)	Target: The Administration, National Taiwan Normal University, suppliers, and legally authorized investigative agencies.
(D)	Method: Utilization through information systems within the scope permitted by law.

3. Rights of Data Subjects
The Administration adheres to the Personal Data Protection Act and relevant regulations, providing data subjects the following rights concerning their personal data:

(3)	Request to supplement or correct.
(4)	Request to stop collection, processing, and use.
(5)	Request to delete.
(6)	Request to restrict processing and use (temporary suspension pending accuracy verification or dispute resolution).

However, the Administration may refuse requests if it is necessary to fulfill legal obligations or business requirements. Additionally, exercising these rights may affect the related interests of the data subject. Data subjects can also file complaints with the Ministry of Education to protect their rights.

4. Cross-border Data Transfer
Unless with your consent or as otherwise specified by law, we will not transfer your data overseas. If necessary, the following regulations will be followed:

According to government agency regulations, personal data transfer to regions or countries where the law prohibits it is forbidden.

(2)

When transferring personal data to individuals, organizations, groups, regions, or countries outside the Administration, the appropriate security maintenance measures of the transmission destination and recipient should be considered.

(3)

Personal data transfer operations outside the Administration require review and approval.

(4)

Appropriate protection and cooperation with competent authorities are required for the international transfer of personal data or files in the following cases:

(A)	Involving significant national interests.
(B)	Specific provisions in international treaties or agreements.
(C)	Inadequate personal data protection regulations in the recipient country that may harm the data subject's rights.
(D)	Circumventing personal data protection laws by transferring personal data to a third country (region) indirectly.

5. Protection of Minors
This website is not specifically designed for minors/children. Minors should only use this website after their legal representatives or guardians have read and understood this policy. If agreeing to the collection and use of personal information on this website, it should be done with the consent of their legal representatives or guardians.
